1. Who we are
CuidCare is owned and operated by Sandra Ruiz Enterprises, LLC ("CuidCare," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to the CuidCare website, beta program, mobile application, and related support services.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use CuidCare, we may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, login credentials or authentication identifiers, role, and profile settings.
- Care and household information: care-recipient details, relationships, care-team members, schedules, appointments, medications, tasks, supplies, meals, shift notes, care updates, journal entries, emergency contacts, and information you choose to upload or enter.
- Invitations and communications: contact information for people you invite, messages sent through CuidCare, support requests, and beta feedback.
- Technical and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic information, and interactions with app features.
- Subscription information: subscription status and entitlement information. Apple processes App Store payments; CuidCare does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.
Please provide only information you are authorized to share. If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for having permission to do so.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create and maintain accounts and shared care spaces;
- display schedules, reminders, medications, notes, and other care information to authorized care-team members;
- send service, security, invitation, and support communications;
- operate the beta, respond to feedback, troubleshoot, and improve CuidCare;
- protect users, prevent misuse, and maintain the security and integrity of the service;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use; and
- manage subscriptions and confirm access to paid features after launch.
4. How information is shared
We may share information:
- With your care team: information in a shared care space is available to people invited or authorized for that space according to their role and permissions.
- With service providers: vendors that support hosting, authentication, storage, communications, analytics, customer support, security, and app operations, subject to contractual protections.
- With Apple: information needed for App Store distribution, subscriptions, purchases, and platform services.
- For legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to lawful requests.
- In a business transaction: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and protections.
CuidCare does not sell personal information. CuidCare does not use care information for targeted advertising.
5. Sensitive care information
Information about health, medications, caregiving, or a care recipient may be sensitive. We process that information to provide the features you request and to make it available to the authorized members of your care space. CuidCare is a consumer coordination tool, not a healthcare provider, insurer, or emergency service.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide CuidCare, maintain the shared care space, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention may vary by data type and account status.
You may request account and personal-data deletion by using any deletion control available in the app or by emailing sandra@cuidcare.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period or be retained when required by law. Deleting your account may not delete content that another authorized household member independently controls or must retain.
7. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; confirm whether we process it; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. CuidCare does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Submit a request to sandra@cuidcare.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your login information confidential and notify us if you believe an account or care space has been accessed without authorization.
9. Age requirement
CuidCare is intended only for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as CuidCare changes. We will post the updated policy, revise the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law.
